Nocturnal gunfight breaks out in Pulwama village | KNO

Pulwama, May 18 (KNO) : A nocturnal gunfight broke out in Panzgam area of South kashmir's Pulwama district. A police officer told KNO that a joint team of army including 55 RR and SOG cordoned off Panzgam area of Pulwama following specific information about the presence of some militants in the area. As such the joint team of forces intensified the searches towards the suspected spot, hiding militants opened fire leading to an encounter, he said When reports last came in, the exchange of firing was going on. Two to three militants are believed to be trapped, sources said.(KNO)
